LIVING.
Adorned with vibrant moroccan reds and oranges the welcoming sitting room is surrounded by french doors which lead out to the stunning courtyard with a peaceful water feature and garden.
In summer there are ceiling fans for cooler days and air conditioning in every room for the height of summer. In winter, the cosy atmosphere is enhanced by the warming glow of the open fireplace, and additional heating as required.
EATING & DINING.
The light-filled kitchen of Dar Zahour is the heart of the property with its sunset walls, marble topped counters and island. It incorporates an array of integrated appliances and useful additions, such as a 5 hob gas oven, a juicer for fresh orange juice, a coffee grinder and complementary Dar Zahour organic olive oil. Adjoining the space is an open-shelved pantry with a second fridge-freezer and additional sink.
The indoor dining area features a family-sized table and chairs that can sit 8 people. Large wooden doors, hand-carved by a local artisan, lead to an outdoor dining area that sits up to 10 people.
You will also find a handy utility courtyard next door to the kitchen, which is in the shade of a large ficus tree and houses the washer and dryer.

SLEEPING & BATHING.
A super king bed resides in harmonious blues in the main suite on the first floor. Promising pure bliss, the views of the tall palm trees and the impressive Atlas mountains in the distance. Two balconies lead off the main bedroom for extensive views of the property and surrounding land. A dressing-room offers built-in wardrobe and space for stowing belongings. For added comfort and convenience there is an ensuite bathroom with a WC, shower and bathtub high enough to look out to the fields whilst relaxing in herbs from the farms own gardens.
The second bedroom found on the first floor is a picturesque twin featuring two single beds topped with the highest quality sheets. For added convenience, this bedroom boasts its own ensuite bathroom with a WC and shower. Impressive roof terraces are found either side of this room. Garden and mountains views are uninterrupted and it provides a perfect, tranquil space for yoga or afternoon naps in the sun.
The third bedroom on the ground floor offers a large double bed and plenty of wardrobe space, with large french doors leading out to the garden. A large bathroom is nextdoor with WC, shower and bath.
The fourth bedroom on the ground floor is a spacious suite, with a large double bed, french doors with a pool view and shuttered-windows looking into the courtyard. Built-in wardrobes line the walkway to the ensuite, featuring WC, shower and bath.
A further WC is found off the entrance hall.
SWIM & SUNBATHE.
The large mosaic pool is surrounded with palm trees leading to a pool house; featuring a bar with sink, a freshwater shower, WC, sunbeds and L-shape sofa for perfect outdoor living. Draped curtains provide additional shade for those summer days and an open fireplace allows for outdoor relaxing on the cooler nights.
AN ORGANIC OUTDOOR SPACE.
Accessed via a smooth piste, away from the main road, rosemary and lavender surround the house. A large lawn is surrounded by orange, lemon, almond and pomegranate trees. With over fifty olive trees on the land we look forward to the yearly harvest providing our own organic extra virgin olive oil each year.
Beyond the gardens, sprawling fields with row after row of dormant saffron bulbs. Every November we welcome the purple flowers and red stamen which when picked and processed, provide us with the highest grade organic saffron.
Happy hens wander the fields during the day, providing fresh organic eggs each day.
